Origen traces wool back to the land and the people behind it.
With Full Circle, we want to follow its journey beyond the product — observing what happens as wool biodegrades and returns to the soil.
As we celebrate 75 years of wool, we want to invite a selected group of partners to take part in a project that brings the idea of Origen one step further: following wool beyond the product and documenting what happens when it completes its cycle — from the soil and back to it.
After more than two years of planning, by the end of this year Engraw will begin planting 14 hectares of new forest on the land surrounding our facility in Uruguay, as part of our long-term decarbonization journey. Through Full Circle, we want to invite our partners to become part of this project: selected 100% wool products will return to the soil as part of the planting process. Full Circle is the project that brings it all together.
The product returns to the soil. And its journey continues…
Before each wool product returns to the land, we will record baseline soil conditions. We will then follow its journey over time, observing and measuring what happens as wool naturally biodegrades.
No predetermined conclusions. We'll let the soil tell the story.
We provide the wool. You give it purpose. With Full Circle, you return it to us — and together, we bring it back to where it began.
One 100% wool product or sample.
Must arrive in Uruguay before October 30.
We'll take it from there.
We would love you to be part of Full Circle.
We'll take care of the rest.
